This site is dedicated to the memory of William Fraser.

My beautiful baby William was born at his home on 2nd of November 2011 weighing a healthy 81b 8oz. Within days he became unwell, despite reassurance from health care professionals William was taken to queen Alexandra  hospital by myself amy bevis and fiancé Richard Fraser. Tests revealed pneumococcal meningitis. William was transferred overnight to Southampton general hospital, and ventilated as his condition worsened. He started having seizures and had lost the use of all his limbs, his sight and hearing. Our family made the decision to switch off the ventilator, and bring him home where he passed away aged 19 days.  I am now helping meningitis uk to find a vaccine to eradicate all forms of meningitis and am pleading for your help, so that other families don't have to suffer the pain we have. On the 17th may we holding a charity walk from warsash to hamble starting at 10am meeting in the car park adjacent to thorton avenue. The walk is roughly 7 miles and all are welcome for sponsor forms please contact amy bevis 01489 579126 or Jenny Bevis on 07849 310 925.
